An independent, non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting and protecting human rights.Founded in 2008, Mid-Rift Human Rights Network registered as MIDRIFT HURINET is an Not-for Profit organization working to empower citizens, the state and non-state actors to inculcate a culture of human rights, peace,safety and security. Through inter-sectoral partnership and collaboration geared towards collective action for collective impact, it drives positive and sustainable change in realization of Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 5&16) and all those goals that address known risk factors associated with violence. MidRift Hurinet currently operates in the counties of Nakuru,Baringo, and Kisumu. We lead with a commitment to mainstreaming HumanRights-based approaches in all programming in order to achieve Good Governance and sustainable development.
